Traditional comfortable farmhouse in quiet scenic location just 5 minutes walk to Drummin village which has a local pub and shop. Beside the Oranmore River, surrounded by Sheefry Hills on one side and overlooked by Croagh Patrick on the other side.
Drummin is and ideal base from which to tour Connemara - Leenane is only 16 miles - and it is 50 miles from Galway city, driving through some of the most picturesque parts of counties Mayo and Galway enroute. Water sports abound in this area and you can enjoy sailing, scuba diving, canoeing and surfing within easy reach of Drummin.
The renowned tourist town of Westport - All-Ireland award winner in Tidy Towns competition - is only 9 miles away with its Championship 18-hole Golf Course, historic Westport House, pubs with traditional Irish music, numerous restaurants and many other attractions. Westport is also the starting point of the Great Western Greenway, the longest off-road cycling and walking trail in Ireland. The town of Louisburgh is approx 10 miles away. Knock International Airport is one hours drive of the farmhouse.

Directions
Take the Leenane/Clifden road (N59) out of Westport for approx 5.5miles. At a crossroads you will see a sign for Drummin, turning right and drive for 3.9 miles until you reach a sign for Drummin village, also a sign for 'Derryhawna'. Turn left there and it is the second house on the right in that road (approx 0.2 of a mile).
